The location of a boudoir photoshoot can greatly impact the creative styling and feel of the photoshoot. While we have a beautiful Victorian House of our own for photoshoots, it may not align with everyone’s style. Here are my top 5 locations in Melbourne for a boudoir photoshoot from Peerspace.
About Peer Space
Peerspace is a website similar to Airbnb, but rather than renting places to stay, you rent them to use. Most of the places on Peerspace are rented by the hour or perhaps a half day or full day. This makes it convenient for photoshoots rather than booking a hotel for a whole night, you only can a place for a few hours. It’s much more cost efficient and you have a choice from a variety of different creative venues.
These are a list of my current favourite locations on Peer Space for boudoir photoshoots.
1. Tuscan Style Farmhouse

The Potterage is a beautiful Tuscan provincial style farmhouse, full of rustic features and charm. With its 6m high ceiling and barn doors, it is a perfect location for one-of-a-kind boudoir photoshoots. The bedroom is full of natural light, making it ideal for an airy, feminine style of photoshoot. The lounge area is also very unique, with rustic couches and an open fireplace, filled with artful decor. The bathroom is unique with a full length window, draped in white to create a soft diffused light. The backyard is filled with floral greenery and some rustic sheds to create some artistic options for those natural, outdoor boudoir photos.
2. Daylight loft studio

The daylight loft studio is conveniently located in Footscray, just 15 minutes from Melbourne CBD. This daylight loft studio boasts sweeping views of big skies and urban industrial landscapes. Enormous south-facing windows ensure beautiful consistent light throughout the day. If you’re a fan of warm, natural light and interesting, artful lighting and shadows, this is a location for you. Paired with the rustic feel, it creates and interesting a rustic charm. This studio also comes with a cyclorama for more tasteful shots using a backdrop.
3. Urban Bayside Home

For those seeking the ultimate in luxury- masterpiece takes it to new heights in an elite Brighton Beach locale. Custom designed with style and sophistication, 3 vast levels are beautifully connected by a sculptural spiral staircase, while expanses of glass celebrate natural light wrapping leafy gardens and solar-heated pool. Photoshoot opportunities are endless. This location is feminine and flattering and is the perfect backdrop for your boudoir photos.
