Why have a maternity photoshoot in Geelong or Torquay?
Outdoor photography is my favourite style for maternity photoshoots. Embracing this natural, yet incredible process that the human body can achieve is captured perfectly when in harmony with nature’s most beautiful landscapes.
Torquay is blessed with some of the most incredible beaches in the world. As someone with a background in landscape photographer, I have a unique skillset for natural light and compositions.

Where Do Maternity Photoshoots Take Place?
Maternity photoshoot can take place either at your home (I have a portable studio), or for my personal preference- outdoors in nature.
Your Home
There’s no place like home.
My studio is 100% portable, meaning I can photograph you in the comfort of you own home. I have a variety of backdrops and lighting that can work with any home- no matter how big or small. If you have a nice garden or some interior decoration you’d like to show off- I can seamlessly blend in these locations with our glamour session.
Outdoors
Natural lighting offers a style that is fun and free, capturing this fleeting moment against nature’s backdrop.
My personal favourite location for maternity photography is outdoors. I have lived in the Surf Coast for many years and we are lucky to be surrounded by some of the most picturesque beaches in the world. As a local, I know all the best beaches that are perfect for maternity photoshoots.
What Should I Wear For My Maternity Photoshoot?
Choosing outfits for your maternity photoshoot can be the most daunting step of the process.
The first thing to consider when choosing an outfit is to consider the theme of your photoshoot. Pinterest is a great tool for gathering images to create a mood board for your photoshoot. Start with typing in search terms like ‘beach maternity photoshoot’ and look for images that you like. You can then narrow down your search terms further based on these images to come up with a concept for your shoot.
Pay close attention to the style of outfits the women are wearing, as well as any accessories they use like jewellery. or hats
The idea of maternity photography is to wear whatever makes you feel confident.

At Which Stage of Pregnancy Should I Schedule My Shoot?
Maternity sessions are best held at between 28-36 weeks. During this time, your belly will be at the right size to show off in a photoshoot. Any later and the bellow may have dropped a bit far down in preparation for delivery, but most importantly- we want you to feel comfortable so that you can fully enjoy the experience.
How Much Will A Maternity Session Cost?
My maternity photography sessions start from $399.
Everybody’s photoshoot is slightly different, and I aim to give you the best possible price for your unique circumstances. Depending on whether you want to treat yourself to the full suite with hair, makeup and a luxury studio location, or prefer to keep it simple with DIY hair and makeup and an outdoor beach location- I cater to all your needs.
